What is the difference between a bear and a bull?

The terminologies are applicable from the way in each of these animals attack their opponents. In respective scenarios, the bull will thrust its horns in the air, whereas a bear will stamp its paws down on its prey. A bull market is when the economy is very smooth, the GDP of the economy is rising, and job creation is also on the rise.

Who would win a fight a bull or a bear?

The bear wins pretty easily. Back during the gold rush, "cowboys" would stage these fights to entertain people. Initially they would saw the horns off of the bulls in order to save the bear. The bears obliterated the bulls typically by shattering their skulls.

What does the Bear and the Bull Stand for?

The terms "bear" and "bull" are thought to derive from the way in which each animal attacks its opponents. That is, a bull will thrust its horns up into the air, while a bear will swipe down. These actions were then related metaphorically to the movement of a market: if the trend was up, it was considered a bull market; if the trend was down, it was a bear market.
